Freezing night-time temperatures in areas such as Alicante and Almería have slowed or halted crop growth, leading to reduced availability across European supply chains.

As a result, we are seeing notable price increases and limited supply in products such as Aubergines, Courgettes, and Cucumbers. Market reports indicate that prices have risen sharply due to limited supply and slowed plant regrowth.

Today we say goodbye to our dear friend and colleague, Ross Clennell.
Ross was part of the JR Holland family for almost 20 years, his dedication and kindness touched everyone he worked with. He wasn’t just a colleague, he was a true friend to so many of us.

As we gather to honour Ross’s memory, many of our drivers will be attending his funeral. Please note there will be a short pause in deliveries between 11:00 am and 12:00 pm as we pay our respects.

Ross will be deeply missed, but never forgotten. Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones at this difficult time. 💙
