Stoates dirty white stone ground
This flour is THE ticket to life giving baked goods. This is the only stone ground white flour I can find in the UK. Beware roller milled empty flours. Thank you, Stoates and Good Food Project. I’m teaching traditional sourdough bread classes and this is the must use flour!!!

I have only made one cake so far but what struck me immediately was the colour, in the 70s I always bought un bleached flour from a lovely herbalist shop, the colour of this flour took me back to how it used to look then, it’s amazing how our minds accept change over time, I’m so pleased to have proper flour again thank you, I have thrown away all my so called doves farm organic flour that I had left.

Wow, just wow! I absolutely love this flour. It’s unbleached so visually, it isn’t white. I’m not hung up on colour. It tastes good, that’s all that matters. I will definitely continue using this flour.
