And now, the end is near
Tonight we face our final service
Our friends, we’ll shed a tear
We’ll close our doors and find new purpose
We’ve lived a year that’s full
Of memories and cooking Durty
But more, much more than this
I’ve cooked it my way.

Regrets, just one or two
But then again, too few to mention
I did all that I could do
I gave my all without exception
I planned on a different course
But here we are on a new journey
So now it’s time to say
Goodbye to Durty.

Just a quick shout out to the absolute best customers around; you lot.

Honestly we knew this was going to be an emotional week but the comments and the chats we have had with customers tonight has been beyond touching.

To hear how much you have loved our food - shared our journey - and supported us throughout has been incredible.

In these trying times when people are having to tighten their belts or are dealing with a wave of stress … to hear you lot want to give us your money, that you look forward to eating our food… that you’re going to miss us 🥺🥺🥺🥺

❤️ Announcement ❤️

Grubbers… it is with the heaviest of hearts that we are announcing the closure of Durty Grub.

It’s been an incredible year and to say we are heartbroken is an understatement.

We wish we could continue on this journey especially as we have been so warmly received, we are increasingly busy and you lot seem to love the food.

But like everyone we are feeling the effects of the hikes in food, energy and the cost of living increase with even more to come.

Coupled with the desire to keep our menu prices affordable, but the need to bring someone into the kitchen to help we have considered every option and just can’t do it financially.

We cannot thank you enough for each and every order, message of support and all the encouragement you have shown since we opened. We will carry these memories with us forever but family and mental wellbeing needs to come first.

Our last operational day will be Friday 6th May when we will close our doors and bid you all a Big Durty farewell.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
