What a week!

One more piece of brilliant news reached our BNS HQ, this time it's from the Scottish Whisky Awards 🥃

We've been nominated in five categories this year, and shortlisted for Independent Bottler of the Year too! Super excited about the latter!

So many amazing producer, retailer and visitor attractions on this year's list — brilliant company to be in. Fingers crossed 🤞 Results land in November.

Hey folks! We have some exciting news to share with you!

Brave New Spirits has been shortlisted for "Food & Drink Manufacturer Of The Year" at this year's Made In Scotland awards, courtesy of the good folks at Insider Media

From a small team working out of our Glasgow warehouse ,to be named alongside some brilliant Scottish businesses is a proper moment for us!

Last night, Paul Paul Dempsey led a whisky tasting for James Nisbet club at Windsor Bar on Elm Row — all in aid of Movember UK.

James, who runs the club, is a serial fundraiser for the cause, and got the whole thing together. Great drams, a great crowd, and money raised for something that matters.

On top of that, Windsor Bar's also running their exclusive wristband-holders menu for Whisky Week Edinburgh (3–13 September) — so if you're in town, there's more where that came from.

Fifty whisky lovers, one brilliant independent shop, and a whole lot of drams — Friday night at in Gourock was a proper good one.

Huge thanks to Allan and Julia for having us. Running a family-run specialist whisky shop takes real passion, and it shows in every corner of that place.

Paul and Viki were on pouring duty, chatting away and introducing this lovely crowd to our bold brands, and many beautiful drams!

Hey! Just wanted to share some brilliant news that reached BNS HQ yesterday!

We've been shortlisted for Spirits Bottler of the Year at The Spirits Business Awards — three years in a row!!! Wooooow! (At this point we're wondering if the judges just forgot to remove us from the list, but we'll take it 😅). We're up against some brilliant indie bottlers this year, and just being named alongside them is an honour in itself.

And that's not it! Our brand Cask Masters, launched just less than three years ago, has been shortlisted for Whisky Brand of the Year! Such incredible news. Nowadays with so many new brands and such a wide variety of brilliant bottlers and bottlings out there, to see our name on that shortlist makes us extremely happy.

We are one very chuffed, very proud team here in Glasgow. With autumn officially starting yesterday and the skies turning grey, we're definitely not feeling dull today — we'll be celebrating this recognition with a dram of one of the Cask Masters single cask bottlings. Cheers! 🥃

We've gone and found ourselves a new whisky partner in crime — say hello to Viki, new BNS Sales Exec and Brand Ambassador 🥃

Years behind the bar, an unstoppable love for cask strength, a passion for yapping all things whisky, and a serious soft spot for a sweet wine finish.

Viki's philosophy? "I have a selection, not a collection." Whisky's for sharing, not gathering dust, which is why nothing stays sealed for long.

Southport was one of the very first to believe in what we were building, almost six years ago now, back when Brave New Spirits was just getting started. So coming back to this club always feels a bit like coming home. 🥃💛

Huge thanks to Southport Whisky Club for having us at for another belter of a Summer Festival Saturday — seven bars, twelve independent distilleries and bottlers!
