Something special is making its way across the Atlantic. This Blair Athol, distilled back in November 2011 and just bottled this June, is heading state-side as an exclusive release for the American market, landing soon through our friends at Henry Preiss.
Blair Athol doesn't get bottled as a single cask all that often, so this one's a real treat. Fourteen years in a first fill American Bourbon Hogshead has done exactly what you'd hope: honey, orchard fruit, and a real depth to the spirit underneath. Highland character through and through.
We've timed this one to land alongside America's 250th year of independence, and the label's our own nod to that, Lady Liberty watching over the skyline. Just 250 bottles making the crossing, each one at 49.9% ABV.🥃
This is part of what we love doing at Cask Masters, putting together single cask releases tailored to specific markets, so whisky lovers in different corners of the world get something made just for them.
Bourbon cask Blair Athol at cask... well, near enough cask strength. Who's picking up a bottle when it lands in the US?🧐
