Join us on Thursday 3rd September for a Blind Tasting experience at The Clydeside Distillery, designed to put your palate to the test.

Following a guided distillery tour, you'll sample a selection of whiskies from The Clydeside and A.D. Rattray, Max will lead you through what you are tasting - exploring flavour profiles, distilling styles and cask influences without the clues of labels, branding, or preconceived judgement.

Discover how aroma, texture and taste shape your perception of whisky, and see whether you can identify the characteristics that make each dram unique.

Have you heard of the term Angel's Share before? It's probably one of the most well-known expressions in the world of whisky.

As whisky matures in oak casks, a small amount of spirit naturally evaporates through the wood each year. This is known as the Angel's Share.

While a little whisky is lost over time, what's left behind continues to develop its unique character and flavour - proof that great whisky is worth the wait.

Before there was whisky, there was the dock.

Long before The Clydeside Distillery opened its doors, this was the heart of Queen's Dock (originally Stobcross Dock) – one of the busiest docks on the River Clyde and a gateway to the world.

Built in 1877, our home began life as the dock's Pumphouse, powering the cranes and machinery that kept thousands of tonnes of cargo moving through Glasgow every day.

Today, the ships have gone, but the building remains. Beautifully restored, it's now home to our distillery, where Glasgow's spirit of innovation and craftsmanship continues in a different way.

Created in collaboration with Drygate Brewing Co., People's Pilsner is our tribute to Glasgow's proud brewing and distilling heritage.

Crafted using wort from The Clydeside Distillery, it's a crisp, unfiltered European-style pilsner brewed to preserve as much flavour and character as possible.

Full of character. Just like Glasgow.

Some journeys take a surprising turn.

We're delighted to introduce People's Pilsner – a special collaboration between The Clydeside Distillery and Drygate Brewing Co.

Every whisky we make begins with wort. Usually, its journey continues through our washbacks and on to the stills. This time, one batch took a different route.

Working with the team at Drygate, we transformed that wort into People's Pilsner – a collaboration that celebrates Glasgow's proud brewing and distilling heritage.

Like everything we do at The Clydeside, flavour came first. Drygate carefully brewed the beer to preserve as much of the original character of our wort as possible, creating an unfiltered pilsner with depth of flavour, a naturally light haze and a crisp European-style finish.

Bringing together the best of brewery and distillery in one collaboration, People's Pilsner is our tribute to Glasgow—and we can't wait for you to try it.
