⚡️🍔Favourite Burger🍔⚡️

My all-time favourite burger used to be the ‘Top Dog’; however, this has now been superseded by the ‘Korean Chicken Burger’, both from ( = legend). No wonder they are a multi-award-winning burger establishment! Which one would you choose? 🤔

Top Dog - Bone marrow and roquefort butter, double bacon, caramelised onions and black truffle mayo.

Korean Chicken Burger - Gochujang dressing, spring onions, crispy fried garlic onions and asian slaw.

Recently we popped in to check out , a rebrand from the family-run Te Seba (which we LOVED). We knew we were in for a treat with this !

Promising a no-frills wine and snacks bar playing chill music, it absolutely delivered! With tasty picky bits and a reasonably priced selection of delicious wines, what’s not to love, especially in its West End location where you would expect to fork out a lot more! And it’s dog friendly, loved his visit! 🐾

Can you clucking believe that today marks 3 incredible years of !

What better way to celebrate it than launching their brand new fried chicken concept !

Last night we got to a preview of what’s going to be on offer, and my god it was clucking tremendous! From Wings with Bling (boneless wings served with sour cream and chives, finished with a bump of caviar and a glass of champagne) to the Signature Clucking Bucket (a bucket of buttermilk fried chicken served with homemade dill pickles and house slaw). The menu is extensive and has something for everyone, mac and cheese, corn ribs and frickles to keep vegetarians happy too. And when it comes to dessert… they have Pecan Pie!!! If that’s isn’t a good enough reason alone to visit, I don’t know what is!

We were lucky enough to try everything on the menu and when I tell you this is one not to be missed I mean it! It’s incredibly good!

Bookings are now open for Monday and Tuesday the 8th & 9th and 15th & 16th. It’s going to be a sellout so get booked in now! You would be clucking mad not to!

Getting into the festive ‘spirit’ with 🥃🎄

We just received a bottle of Deanston Virgin Oak delivered from the lovely guys at . Known for its rich, complex flavours, Deanston whisky adds depth not only to a glass but also to festive dishes, elevating any recipe. Whether enjoyed in a whisky-inspired dish, savoured as a dram, or crafted in a cocktail serve, Deanston encourages everyone to share and enjoy the spirit of the season with their nearest and dearest. I’ll need to save some to add to my whisky sauce for Burn’s Night!

The Deanston Virgin Oak was recently awarded “One of the World’s Best Single Malts” by the International Wine & Spirit Competition . It’s matured in ex-bourbon barrels, then finished in virgin American oak for 9-12 months. Sweet, zingy, and waxy; notes of soft honey, candied oranges, juicy orange oils, creamy vanilla, caramel, and warm, aromatic spice. The perfect pairing for the festive season and these dreich nights if you ask me!

Happy Rump(steak) day🥩

This is your friendly reminder if you’re craving a steak this week, are serving up there amazing steak frites deal from tomorrow until Saturday. Trust me, order a second portion of the peppercorn sauce, I could eat it with a spoon! 🥄 And don’t forget to order the best hummus you will ever taste! 🤌🏽

I am also super excited to try out the on Tuesday, if it’s anything like the steaks, it’ll be another one of my obsessions!

DYEing to go back!

Last weekend we had the most incredible stay , stunning self catering lodges in Royal Deeside. We were obsessed with the curated decor and the amenities within the lodge, and all for such a reasonable price.

A BYOB bothy, sauna, roaring fire, toasting marshmallows, boardgames, dinners from , bottles of with my clique, white chocolate and raspberry tart from and picturesque walks with .

It all made for a dream weekend, couldn’t recommend this place enough! ❤️

A couple of months ago, we had the most incredible meal in Edinburgh! We were so impressed that we are heading back through in a couple of weeks’ time!

We were blown away by the quality of the food, impeccable service, and the flavours they had to offer! It’s no wonder they were recently added to the 🤌🏽🔥

Last week and I had the pleasure of working with Rob from , we spent an hour together at Queen’s Park! We are just obsessed with the results!

Rob specialises in a very PAWfessional, yet affordable, pet photography service. Rob regularly captures his work in a more relaxed environment of your choice, such as your favourite local park, and was incredible with Ripley, even I felt at ease being at the other side of the lens for a change.

We are so impressed with the finished results and are already looking at photo frames after the super-fast turnaround. If you, or someone you know, has a furry friend in their life, this is honestly the PAWfect Christmas present (the packages start from just £75, incredible value). I am so excited to share more with you from our shoot. 📸🐶🐾
