Seafood, cocktails & a whole lot of WOW! 🦞🍸

Recently we were along to in collaboration with and honestly, the seafood spread they put on completely blew me out of the water (pun intended!) 🤤🦪

If you know The Finnieston, you’ll know they know a thing or two about seafood, but this was something else. Incredible produce, beautifully prepared and presented dishes and the kind of meal that has you talking about it long after you’ve left.

Add in some cracking cocktails and you’ve got yourself a pretty perfect combination. Seafood and a good cocktail? You really can’t go wrong! 🍸👌🏼

A massive thanks to and for having us along - this was a proper treat, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

Glasgow’s food scene really is something special. 🦞✨

Over the weekend we went along to MAISON by Glaschu for their Prix Frites menu and honestly, what a great wee deal!

Available every day from 12–5pm, you can get 2 courses for £25 or 3 courses for £30 — and the best bit? It also includes a spritz, glass of w**e or draft soft drink.🍷

Perfect for a leisurely meal, a catch-up with friends or just an excuse to treat yourself.

Good food, a drink included and all for a pretty cracking price. Also we signed up for The Superlative Collection loyalty app, and got £5 off our meal. Definitely one to have on your radar if you’re looking for a great-value meal in Glasgow!

The Liquor Store 🍸✨

We were invited along to The Liquor Store for a little taste of what they’re all about and honestly, we left wanting more!

We got to try a selection of taster canapés, giving us a wee preview of the elevated comfort food they serve from the full menu, and everything we tried was seriously good!

From the same legendary team behind Devil of Brooklyn & The Last Bookstore Bar, we knew we were in for a treat! Think proper comfort food, with a bit of a glow-up… short rib, arancini and rarebit 🤌🏽 paired with some top notch cocktails and a relaxed, moody atmosphere.

We’re definitely heading back soon to work our way through the full menu — because those canapés were only a tease! 👀

Summer Sunday’s has arrived

Caesar the moment and get down here pronto for their famous Sunday Roast with a twist. After being in today, we couldn’t decide what we preferred, the chicken or the beef… both were incredible, but we did agree the lobster and crayfish mac n’ cheese was a non-negotiable extra. Get booking, good looking!

No need to Mull it over, get your stay at the booked now, you will not regret it!

AD | Gifted - Continuing on our road trip, after our brunch at the we hopped onto the ferry and headed over to the Isle of Mull. Just a 10-min walk from the Craigmure ferry terminal on Mull is the gorgeous which is part of the .

Our room was the stunning ‘Retreat Suite’ which had picturesque coastal views, a host of complementary amenities, we also benefited from a private terrace with our very own hot tub! The rooms are tastefully decorated and seriously comfortable! Even was immediately right at home!

We started off with a walk around the grounds taking in the breathtaking views which speak for themselves (be sure to pack an inhaler as they will take your breath away)!

After a quick dip in our hot tub, we got dressed up for dinner at Òran na Mara… yet more incredible views from the restaurant and a delicious meal!

In the morning after an exceptional sleep and a quick breakfast, we went to their uber-lux Driftwood spa (again all my favourite products) where we were treated to a massage and a facial before heading to the Wilderness Deck!

The Wilderness Deck was one of the highlights of our stay. A bookable, private sanctuary with yet more insane views and your own private sauna, hot tub, experience shower, and viewing snug! Booking this is a must!

We left this incredible hotel feeling relaxed and rejuvenated! We are already excited to get a date booked in for our next stay!

A couple of weeks ago, we went on a road trip to Oban, where we were to the to check out their first Brunch Club event! How could we resist an afternoon with stunning bay views, delicious brunch dishes, expertly crafted cocktails, and a live DJ?! The perfect Sunday bunch vibe! The next Brunch Club is on the August the 2nd from 11 am. Book now to avoid disappointment, the first event was sold out and it’s really one not to be missed!
