The side of food production customers don’t normally see… 📝
When people see a HOSPREP meal, they see the finished product.
What they don’t see is everything that has to happen behind the scenes to make sure that meal is produced safely and consistently.
One of the most important parts of our day is record keeping for our HACCP food safety system.
Temperatures, cooking, cooling, cleaning, deliveries, ingredients and checks all need to be monitored and recorded.
And there’s a simple reason for it.
If you don’t record it, you can’t prove it happened.
As HOSPREP has grown, I’ve realised that making great food is only one part of running a food production business. Having proper systems and making sure they’re followed every single day is just as important.
It might look like paperwork, but these records allow us to spot problems, trace what happened and take action if something isn’t right.
And most importantly, they help us make sure every meal leaving HOSPREP is being produced safely.
It’s definitely not the glamorous side of the business 😂 — but it’s one of the most important.
Food safety isn’t something we assume. We check it, record it and prove it. ❤️
