We buy from source and keep our costs competitive so customers can get more for their money. Our wine school is a global centre of excellence for hospitality training so customers can get more from their staff. The wheels of our well-oiled logistics machine are kept turning by a slick warehousing and fulfilment operation that ticks over night and day to get the job done.

Last year we marked 80 years of serving Scotland’s Licensed Trade with something woven into history: our very own bespoke tartan, designed by the award-winning Siobhán Mackenzie, the creative force behind the official 2026 Commonwealth tartan.

Crafted in our signature colours, it reflects both the heritage we carry and the future we’re building toward.

From William Morton’s Glasgow beginnings in 1945 to today, our philosophy has never changed: exceptional people, quality products and outstanding service.

The tartan is a tribute to every customer, supplier, and colleague who has been part of our journey.

When the passion for great drinks takes hold, it can lead you anywhere. For Tom Clarkson, that means one of the most remote places on the planet.

Our Regional Sales Manager Tom has travelled to Easter Island to immerse himself in one of the world’s most extraordinary cultures. From the iconic moai, 900 ancient stone figures standing as silent guardians of the Rapa Nui people, to traditional Polynesian dance and seafood cooked on volcanic stone, Tom has been experiencing the island in the truest sense.

And when the sun sets over the Pacific? He’s raising a glass of Santa Ema, one of Chile’s finest, because some things just taste better at the end of the earth. 🍷
