A.weir butchers is a small family run business which has served springburn and the surrounding area for over thirty years. For the last six years myself James singer has been at the forefront supported by my mother Ellen weir the wife of alasdair weir whom started the business off and got it it's good reputation for quality, which I stand by and strive for each and every day. Just a quick reminder that the shop will be closed on Monday and reopen Tuesday 8am till 2pm as normal.
We will also close at 1pm on Saturday for the holiday weekend.
So get down early and get your goods so you can enjoy the holiday weekend too.
Our cabinet will be fully stocked with all our fabulous products.

Good evening folks

Just a wee post on why we vacuum pac some of our fresh meat.

1 keeps it fresher for longer
2 keeps down wastage
3 allows customer to keep for longer in fridge
4 gives you a better product
5 allows us to prep ahead for busy days

We do all our own vacuum packing in store. All our meat is bought either bone in or boxed from the suppliers we use.

We then prepare the meat for sale and then vacuum pac into either individual portions or variable joint sizes.

All this is done with freshness for customers in mind as the vacuum packing process costs us more money but allows you the customer to keep these products for longer in your fridge saving you food wastage as well as ourselves.

For you or people you know who are gluten intolerant, we at Weirs Butchers have a wide variety of tasty items suitable for you to have.👌

Stir-frys both beef and chicken. Kebabs, tikka skewers, chicken traybakes several flavours. Black garlic steak, 3 different flavoured pork steaks, creamy pepper Chicken kiev or garlic kiev.😋

We have just added to our breakfast packs a gluten free pack
4 square, 4 potato scones, 4 stornoway black pudding and 4 slice of bacon for only £11.10.🙌

Pop along and please feel free to ask what we have in stock that is gluten free.

Also gluten free versions of some hosprep meals can be ordered again ask in store order needs to be placed by 2pm Tuesday for Thursday collection.

Have you tried our newest chicken trybake yet?

Well if you haven't you should.
Creamy tuscan chicken👌😋😋😋 or you may of heard it called marry me chicken

This is simply delicious a cream, cream cheese, sun dried tomato,garlic,basil and oregano .

Simply pop in oven in tray cook for 20mins @ 180c, we made baby potatoes and sweetcorn. This was one of the tastiest and simple dinners.

So pop along and give it a try you certainly won't be disappointed 👍
