Douglas Laing was founded in 1948 by Fred Douglas Laing. 70 years later, we continue to blend and bottle the finest Scotch Wh**ky just the way the Distiller intended - non chill-filtered & at a high strength to preserve maximum character... We bottle all our whiskies with such care and devotion that we’ve earned ourselves an enviable reputation at home and abroad for style and taste, one which we strive to enhance continuously. Getting your hands on some of our bottlings can prove a pleasant adventure, nothing too intrepid – but, rest assured, it won’t involve fighting for a parking space at your local supermarket. Our Malt and Blended Scotch Whiskies have been laid down to rest and mature over many long years awaiting your consumption. Aged for 21 years, this Single Grain has been drawn from a single PX Sherry cask an offers only 240 bottles globally. Bottled at natural cask strength, 58.3% ABV, it delivers Wh**ky in its purest, most characterful form.

We’ve chosen to keep the distillery ‘secret’ - setting aside expectation and inviting you to discover this dram for what it truly is: a celebration of flavour, depth and individuality.

Treacle tart sweetness gives way to cherry bakewell richness, before a warming spiced fruit finish lingers long on the palate. A decadent, full-bodied Wh**ky that rewards those who take the time to explore it.
