Enjoy this delicious, warming and versatile roasted green tea from Japan. A warming brew perfect for Autumn. A real crowd pleaser. 😊

Brew between 80°and 100°C. If you brew at 80°C you'll get more umami notes and if you brew it at higher temperatures it will taste more toasty. I recommend 3g of tea per cup🍵

Today was a great day. It was my first time talking about tea in public and conducting a tea tasting and it was brilliant. Looking forward to more collaborations.Thanks to Jenny from for organising this and to for letting us use their lovely space and a big thanks also to everybody who came 😀 😊

We talked about Japanese tea traditions, sustainability and more and explored 3 teas; Sencha, Genmaicha and Hojicha.

Hojicha is one of my favourite teas. It's nutty, toasty, smooth, and soothing. It's also low in caffeine, so I love to have a cup before bed.

As a big fan of Japanese tea, I have some original Japanese drinking utensils. It adds to the overall experience. My kyusu (teapot) is one of my favourite buys: it just pours so well.
