Order our Hojicha now https://www.caltonteacompany.com/shop/p/hojicha

Enjoy this delicious, warming and versatile roasted green tea from Japan. A warming brew perfect for Autumn. A real crowd pleaser. 😊

Brew between 80°and 100°C. If you brew at 80°C you'll get more umami notes and if you brew it at higher temperatures it will taste more toasty. I recommend 3g of tea per cup🍵

Today was a great day. It was my first time talking about tea in public and conducting a tea tasting and it was brilliant. Looking forward to more collaborations. Thanks to Jenny from for organising this and to for letting us use their lovely space and a big thanks also to everybody who came 😀 😊

We talked about Japanese tea traditions, sustainability and more and explored 3 teas; Sencha, Genmaicha and Hojicha.

More photos to come.
