This week’s review is for EarthfareGlastonbury in Glastonbury.

✅ Ethical and sustainable shopping
✅ Fantastic range of products
✅ Delicious food to take away

We do not get to Earthfare as often as we would like, but whenever we are in Glastonbury it is always on our list. It is the sort of supermarket we wish there were more of. Ethical, sustainable, low waste and packed full of interesting products you do not often see elsewhere. 🌍💚

One of our favourite recent additions is the deli counter. It makes the trip even more exciting because you can pick up breakfast, lunch or a snack while you shop. There is a brilliant selection, with plenty of dairy free and gluten free choices alongside lots of other delicious options. 🥗🥪

The only problem with Earthfare is leaving empty handed... and I genuinely do not think it is possible! Every visit there seems to be something new to discover, we always end up leaving with at least a small basket full of things we just had to try.

If you are heading to Glastonbury, make sure Earthfare is on your list.

Highly recommended. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Gut-friendly lunch bowl

Build your bowl:
◇ Rocket
◇ Cucumber
◇ Cherry tomatoes
◇ Spring onions
◇ Avocado
◇ Broccoli sprouts
◇ Sauerkraut

Top with:
◇ Your favourite seeds
◇ Extra broccoli sprouts

Crispy tempeh:
◇ 1 block tempeh, cubed
◇ 1 tbsp tamari
◇ 1 tsp maple syrup
◇ 1 tsp sesame oil

Pan-fry until golden and crispy.

Creamy dressing:
◇ 2 tbsp kefir (or live natural yoghurt)
◇ Juice of ½ lemon
◇ 1 tsp Dijon mustard
◇ Splash of raw apple cider vinegar with the mother
◇ Black pepper

Pour it all over, toss together and enjoy.

This bowl is packed with fibre, fermented foods, healthy fats and plenty of plant diversity to help nourish your gut microbiome. 💚

We love welcoming familiar faces back! 💙

You may have already spotted that Ronan has rejoined the Earthfare team after a few years away. Ronan has such a lovely, positive energy about him, and we're so happy to have him back with us.

And he's not the only familiar face returning! We've also got some of our awesome students back with us for the summer — a big welcome back to Euan and Lilly! 😊
