Sublime Butter x Clawson Farms: The Dairy Collab of the Century?

Good ideas always seem obvious after the fact. The automobile. The world wide web. Smartphones. So what about… Stilton® butter? What about Stilton® butter… with beef dripping?

After much tinkering and refinement, Sublime Butter and Clawson Farms have finally done it. They’ve created a product so delicious, so gleefully, ridiculously moreish, that the Great Taste Awards might as well hang up their hats and call it a day.

Here it is folks: Clawson Farms Stilton® Butter with Beef Dripping, White Truffle & Confit Garlic. It’s the mythical add-on to every meal that you never knew you needed.
Smear it on your roast beef. Tuck it under the skin of your Christmas turkey. Jostle it through Brussels sprouts, or glazed carrots. For unadulterated enjoyment, simply have it on crackers (in
such ratios as to leave defined teethmarks, please). However you have it, you must have it. This
sacred manna is food FOMO ratcheted up to 11. And it won’t be around for long.

It’s been a while since you ghosted us. Thanks for that. But anyway, it seems like you’ve been busy! Your ‘new’ range of flavoured butters look great. Particularly the Chimichurri and the Truffle, Parmesan & Black Pepper ones. Did you come up with those yourselves? Be honest now. Because it seems like you’ve gone and accidentally made carbon copies of the ones we sent you last year. You know, the ones you pretended you wanted to stock? We won awards for ours though.

Not to cry over spilled milk but as a small producer, we’re sick of having giant supermarkets swoop in, ask for samples, and then rip us off. We’re good people working hard to make something we’re proud of. We love what we do. We find joy in helping people to eat better. Bad sportsmanship from big players means that it’s increasingly difficult to do.

Imitation is the greatest form of flattery, so thank you. But also: stop and think. Take the £££s you’ve spent copying us and make something original. Go out on a limb. All these supermarket price wars and you’ve all forgotten the one true basis of any good brand: stand for something. Then, maybe you won’t have to stoop to following in other people’s wake.

As you all seemed to enjoy last week’s riddle, we’ll try another one, for yet another mystery product. You may be interested to know that nobody — not a single soul — has gotten the answer exactly right. So, this next one is your chance to be the first. Prizes for the closest answer. Here we go...

Chop, chop, chop, chop, chopping.
So many things to get out shopping.
One, oh shock, can be found in a rock,
and one likes slip, slap, slopping.
One’s quite hot. The rest, quite not.
Together, they look like a feast.
All of this toil, plus a cursory boil,
and your answer lies in the East.

We tried so devilishly hard to keep our mouths shut. Really, we did. But this mysterious thing of beauty is about to blow minds. We’ve had many guesses over the past few weeks. Noble guesses. Guesses that were so close, yet so far...

But as this one leaves very little to the imagination, we thought it would be prudent to require some precision. So, we have a riddle for you. We want answers so scientifically spot-on, we might have laser-etched them ourselves.

Here it is:
