Summerhaze Alpacas is a family run business located on the Somerset levels, overlooking the famous Tor of Glastonbury. Our alpacas enjoy the fresh countryside air and their beautiful surroundings and we pride ourselves on the quality of our alpacas, but we are always looking to improve this by combining the best genetics possible. Our herd is only small, but with our selec

tive breeding program we are hoping to increase numbers over the coming years with some excellent animals carrying a quality fibre. Our Aim
We are one of many breeders, who look forward to the challenge of breeding our coloured females to a very high standard, aiming for a fleece with the quality and weight equal to the best white alpacas now found in the UK. This is something we wish to pursue and are very passionate about.

About Summerhaze Alpacas Summerhaze Alpacas is a family run business located on the Somerset levels, overlooking the famous Tor of Glastonbury. Our alpacas enjoy the fresh countryside air and their beautiful surroundings and we pride ourselves on the quality of our alpacas, but we are always looking to improve this by combining the best genetics possible. Our herd is only small, but with our selective breeding program we are hoping to increase numbers over the coming years with some excellent animals carrying a quality fibre. Our Aim We are one of many breeders who look forward to the challenge of breeding our females to a very high standard, but maybe with a twist to colour. Last year we introduced a new breeding programme with our beautiful Stud male Popham appaloosa/Harlequin Mardi Gras, and this year with our new male (recently imported from New Zealand) NZSummerhill Leopard Toros Rolex. We are very excited about what this will bring and have already breed our very own Summerhaze Regatta, a beautiful appaloosa cria sired by Mardi Gras.

This is something we wish to pursue and are very passionate about.
