At The Pilton Show this year, amongst the many fun stalls, will be a dedicated Dog Zone, featuring advice from local behaviourist and dog trainer Somerset Dog Trainer, and a dog “hydration station” with doggie ice creams, frozen bone broth and prizes to be won.

Managed by Kate from Lost Coffee with kind help from the brilliant Vey at Somerset Dog Trainer and Tina from Pets Corner, we will also have a traditional dog show (categories below)

Lost Coffee will be providing barista coffee plus iced tea and coffee, cold drinks, quiche & salad (for humans) and puppuccinos with pumpkin powder.

Last weekend, The Lost Apothecary was transported back to a realm where it truly belongs. The Sacred Sister Gathering welcomed me with open hearts, and I am truly grateful for the experience.

The menu was created with no artificial sweeteners and only wholesome ingredients, to honour our bodies and our intentions. We thanked Mother Earth for providing for us and felt grief for the way she has been treated.

Some highlights of the weekend were my offerings being received with such love and excitement. The foraging walk was inspiring! We learnt about the many different kinds of food and medicines that are in our countryside. We barely scratched the surface of the wonders of our beautiful species of plants, flowers, seeds and magnificent weeds. 🌼

And last but not least, being accepted into the maidens’ world.

I felt the positive effects of the healing that our elders have done before us….. and so we created the Thank You Brew.

The maidens foraged for elderberries, we were gifted lavender, and we selected rosemary and ginger root to bring it all together. 🪾🍃✨

✨ Drinks with intention, crafted for a wonderful occasion. ✨

The Lost Apothecary had the pleasure of creating a small offering in celebration of the opening of Nature Preserved. Created here in Glastonbury during the Summer Solstice, the Summer Solstice Elixir and Moonflower Elixir were a small toast to new beginnings and a wish for every success in the seasons ahead.

Vicky puts her love in to restoring quiet moments in time through ethically sourced taxidermy. Nature Preserved is a place of wonder for curious souls, and a gentle reminder of the simple magic found in the natural world.
