Two Bridges Vineyard

A few photos of the variety of grapes we have growing at Two Bridges.
Our main varieties, Rondo and Solaris go into making our two Campion wines. Other varieties we grow such as Carmenere, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Bacchus and Gewürztraminer contribute to the Community Rose made at Halfpenny Green.
The hot, dry weather hasn’t caused much of a problem for our vines so far so we’re hoping we’ll have another bumper crop to harvest soon!

Another great wine tasting event with The Drinks Magician today despite the weather!
Thanks to a lovely crowd who braved the elements and enjoyed tasting our Campion Rondo and Solaris alongside three other wines which represent other varieties of grape grown here at Two Bridges Vineyard.

LAST PLACES AVAILABLE FOR OUR VINEYARD EXPERIENCE!!!

Do you have any plans for Saturday 29th August? No?
You could be with us here at Two Bridges Vineyard for an afternoon amongst the vines.
We have some individual spaces available to book for just yourself or bring along a few friends.
Bookings are filling up fast but we do have a few remaining individual places on 29th August, so if you’d like to snap up one or two of the LAST REMAINING places please send us a message and we’ll get back to you pronto!

* A welcome talk all about the origins of our lovely boutique vineyard.

🍇 Discover the Hidden Gem on Our Doorstep – Two Bridges Vineyard 🍷

Join us on Sunday 20th September for a wonderful afternoon at Two Bridges Vineyard – a fantastic local vineyard that's right on our doorstep.

📍 Meet: Raven Inn car park, Glazebury
🕧 12:45pm, before making the short 200-metre walk (or drive) to the vineyard for a 1:00pm start.

Hosted by Keith "The Drinks Magician", the afternoon begins with a warm welcome from vineyard owners Gerry and Gill, who will share what's been happening in the vineyard over the past month.

We'll then take a stroll through the vines to see this year's grapes looking their very best, just ahead of the October harvest, before enjoying a guided tasting of four wines:

🍷 Two wines produced from last year's Two Bridges Vineyard harvest.
🌍 Two international wines showcasing the grape varieties grown in the vineyard.

💷 £15 per person

🧀 Optional cheese platter: £7.50 per person – the perfect accompaniment to your wine tasting.

Gerry is all geared up this morning to spray the vines with an organic fungicide to combat powdery mildew. It’s a preventative measure that has to be done several times a year. He’s out nice and early before the sun gets too hot!

We were delighted to supply some of our wine for the wedding of our son to his lovely fiancé this weekend. It was a magical wedding at Bruisyard Hall in the lovely county of Suffolk and the weather couldn’t have been better.
Back home now and planning lots of lovely events in the vineyard. Lots of work to do first catching up with grass cutting, leaf stripping and tucking in the long branches.
