So, today’s tasks has involved no cheesecakes or graze tables… in fact no work at all 😩😟
But it has involved a wonderful array of socks, wheelchairs & beds. 😩😟
As some of you may be aware, I have been suffering with chronic pain and mobility over recent weeks😔
Today I’m hoping is the first step to alleviating all of ⬆️⬆️⬆️ as I was admitted to hospital again this morning & have had a complex spinal operation. The physical and mental pain I have endured has been horrendous & I truly thank all of those who messaged checking up on me - it meant so much to me.
For now, 13 weeks after the original accident, my recovery can finally begin 🙏🙏🙏 Wish me luck… rest is not my forte..! 😂

Little Update…!

A few weeks ago I posted a photo from my hospital bed stating that I’d been admitted and was going to be having a procedure (nerve block injection) on the Monday.
Well, sadly, that didn’t happen…! 🥺
It turns out, that the accident i had in July, caused much more damage, than an ankle hematoma..
I ended up having to spend the week in hospital whilst they tried to balance my pain with pain relief and I have now been sent home for ‘rest’ until October 21st (at the latest, as I’m on the list for a cancellation slot) when I’ll be having spinal surgery. 🏥

I have notified all my clients for October/November, and will keep them all updated personally.. thankfully, after last weekend, I now have a wonderful list of people I know I can rely on to help me, should I need it.! 🫶

I’ll be popping in/out of my Headquarters every now and then till my operation date - it’s nice to get out of the house for a change of scenery & The Old Smithy is very much ‘my happy place” & I’m planning on using this time to organise some areas in there more so than normal (if that’s even possible 😂) so if you see my car and fancy a brew, pop in.!
If you have an upcoming event that you’d like to discuss, please don’t hesitate to get in touch, I’ve got bookings right through till June 2027 atm, so it’s never too early to secure your date.! 🗓️

So with all that’s going on health-wise with me atm, for October/early November, I’ve had to close my order books. However… I’ve got so many ideas I’ve wanted to try, so whilst I have some enforced free time, I’ll be experimenting behind closed doors and if they work, hopefully I’ll be launching them soon. 😜

I’m hoping to get out and do some stalls/school fayres etc during December so if anyone has any ideas, please let me know.! 🙏

I also want to take the opportunity to say thank you to all those clients that have reached out, sending messages of support. And for one special client, who is quite possibly the kindest person I have ever had the pleasure of meeting, for all her kind words and the most thoughtful gift.! 💖🫶

IMPORTANT UPDATE 🥺
As some of you may know, I have been battling with pain since July. I had a physio appointment on Wednesday & obviously I expected the pain to increase. I felt ok to work on Thursday pm to complete some orders but when I got home unfortunately I developed some medical red flags. I spent several painful hours at Tameside A&E till the early hours before coming to Salford Royal A&E. I was here for 9 hours but thankfully given some pain relief. As you can see from the pic, I’ve had to be admitted and I’ll be having a medical procedure on Monday. I’ll do my best to reply to work related issues next week. 🥺🥺

Huge apologies if I’ve missed any comments or tags recently. I don’t seem to be getting all the notifications through for them, I’m coming across them by chance rather than on purpose. Hoping I’ve found all the people needing a reply 🤞 I also believe the What’s App button isn’t working properly either, even though settings are all ok.! Not sure if there’s a glitch on Business Suite atm (or FB trying to get me to pay 🤦‍♀️)
If no joy please try messenger or email. I do try and reply to these as quick as I can with these but life also throws curveballs, and I’m also trying to work with an injury atm so sometimes I’m at medical appointments or in bed very early..! So apologies if I don’t reply straight away… give me a nudge if you’re still awaiting a reply. 🥺😊
