Coming towards the back end of the game season, and yet the Cotswolds still produces some of the best produce the UK has to offer!

These are from a wild fallow in burford, dry aged for 7 days to maximise that game flavour.

The UK do not allow game shoots for venison all year and will be coming to an end soon. So if you would like to try some of our venison which is currently being served within Michelin started restaurants, one restaurant which is in the top 10 of the UK πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§

As mentioned before at C&P we are striving to be sustainable with cuts we use. These steaks come from the chuck, generally the chuck is used for diced meat or Burgers.

We try to offer quirky cuts and create more value out of "cheaper cuts".

Dry aged in our himalayan salt room for 35 days.

Chuck eye steak - Located at the next section to the rib of beef, practically a rib eye but for a fraction of the price.

Denver steak - Seemed out of cap muscle of the chuck leaves a beautiful muscle called a denver steak. Super marbelled and tender.

What to do with a rib of beef πŸ€” the rib (forerib) comes from the end of the forequarter and links into the sirloin section.

Well .... we had a few ideas as a rib is such a versatile cut! We would recommend a variety of cuts. Here are a few to tempt those taste Buds!

How to order - if you place an order Monday via one of order platforms, you will receive a PO reference number for your order, payments to be made at point of order. Receipts emailed out. Orders completed Tuesday and delivered Wednesday. Please let us know if you will not be there and if you have a safe place to leave it. We will send a WhatsApp picture /email of where it has been left if no one is there. Products will be left in a chilled box with ice packs.

How to pay - we will take a card payment over the phone or via Bacs (if paying via Bacs use the PO reference number as your payment reference)
