Does being asked to choose a wine for the table fill you with dread?

Sometimes wine lists can look like double-dutch.
Sometimes you want to be able to answer the question of “what shall we order” with more than just red or white.
Sometimes, you just want to know which section of the supermarket shelves to head to.

If you are interested in wine, but have very little experience or knowledge of what you like, then this is the evening for you.

We will pick five wines from across the spectrum to try, and talk you through the basics of each, along with styles that you might like depending on which you enjoy the most.

No question is too basic, no knowledge level too low; we just want to help you make better wine choices and enjoy wines with a little more understanding.

We will talk wine styles, pricing, prestige, etiquette and pairings all whilst enjoying 5 glasses of the good stuff, so that the next time the in-laws ask you what you’d like to drink, you have an answer!

Players from recently joined the team at for a tonic and mocktail workshop at the Food Dock 🌿

It was a great opportunity to learn more about the ingredients, flavours and blends behind some of their most popular drinks.

A huge thank you to the team at Roots + Seeds for hosting such a brilliant session and to the players for getting involved.

We’re wishing everyone at Gloucester Hartpury the very best of luck in their semi-final at Queensholm this Sunday. We’ll be cheering you on!✨
