Following on from last week, Will did get the grass mowed and it is now in large wrapped round bales. On the cheese front we had a lovely group of people from U3A visiting us on Thursday and on their way to us called in at The Fairview Gardener & The Tea Room
I love wandering the lanes with the 🐶 especially now with the meadow sweet in full bloom, our garden is full of scent too with Roses and Sweet Peas.

Good morning Friday,

After a couple of weeks of rest and contemplation after the Cheese Rolling, we hope we are back up to speed on social media. Even though it’s been so wet and cold, the grass is still continuing you to grow and our girls are happy. In the Cheese House, a party of 4 friends visited us for a splendid afternoon of conversation and tasting. Will, has been sharpening his mower blades in readiness of the next round of silaging. Pursuing the social media, I found a great photo of Will and Lydia at Forest Showcase Food Festival, back in May.

We are sorry we haven’t been doing our Fb duties, it’s all been a little too hectic especially with having 2 film crews here last week. Today, with the beautiful hazy morning, we are packing up and moving out for this wonderful event, The Spring Food Festival, held on the Speech House ground.
