Did you know coffee was discovered by goats?

Legend has it that over 1,000 years ago in Ethiopia, a goat herder named Kaldi noticed his goats were extra energetic after nibbling on bright red berries from a certain bush.

Curious, Kaldi tried the berries himself — and felt a buzz of energy.

Monks later used the berries to stay awake during long prayers… and the rest is highly caffeinated history.

Thank you for all the support yesterday at the Gloucester Fire and Skillzone open day!

It was great to see so many people coming out to support the community and get involved with the demonstrations and experiences put on for the day.

3 genuine call outs meant that we got to see a live response to a fire and those guys are amazing.
