Some exciting new arrivals made it on to the shelves this week. The Riesling section received a well needed restock, found some exciting new Pinots and Blaufrankisch that were simply too good to turn down and the Rose de Xinomavro has finally made an appearance after months of waiting. Also got us some phenomenal bubbles from Portugal.

Did you know- every week we are pouring a completely new set of wines by the glass. Always something super delicious and worth a discovery.

This week we are pouring two wines by who farms some spectacular vineyards in Corbieres, down in the South of France. Originally from Burgundy, Maxime manages to put some Burgundian flair on these wines without losing sight of their origin and true character.

L'Estrade is a white wine made from Grenache Blanc and Bourboulenc from a vineyard area of less than 1ha. Complex and nicely balanced, there is a real freshness here. Think orchard fruit, honeysuckle and some crushed rock.

St Jacques- A blend of equal parts Mourvedre, Carignan and Grenache Noir. The Carignan comes from vines that are 100 years old. This drinks like a seriously bold Mediterranean influenced Beaujolais. Bright red fruit and a real charmer of a wine.

A new month and another exciting wine collaboration with our friends at .

🪷 This month we are pouring Marabino, Terre Argillose 2022- a delicious Nero D'Avola from Sicily. This is one for all you fans of White Lotus (Season 2). Marabino, meaning land of the beloved sun, is based in the picturesque Val do Noto- the same region that was the host to the second season of White Lotus.

🍷 But let's focus on the wine. 100% Nero D'Avola with a fiery character. Perfumed, bright red cherry and Mediterranean thyme. Aged in stainless steel and bottle for 20 months, preserving its delightful fruit. This is a real charmer with a Volcanic kick.

October has been an absolute blast. Kicking things off with our Wine Tastings around Volcanic Wines 🌋 and going on a journey of discovery around the world of Orange & Natural Wines 🍷 to our first Pop Up Tasting. Thanks to everyone for coming along, it has been great meeting so many fellow wine lovers in the community.

With less than two months to go until Christmas (yep I know 😅) I have managed to add a few more themed events into the calendar and looking forward to another spectacular month full of fun tasting events with everyone.

And if you can't make any of the events feel free to drop in and pull up a chair at the Wine Bar. There are always loads of delicious bottles going around with a weekly changing selection of wines by the glass.
