People often ask if we grow the ingredients that we need for our preserves.

Truth be told, we don’t have the capacity to produce enough ingredients what we need for our growing business. But what we can tell you is that our kitchen garden is where Nichols Pickles was born. The idea of using whole, fresh ingredients, to make something truly delicious, is what excited us - 18 months down the line that’s exactly what we’re doing and what we will continue to do.

And every time we get chance to sit outside on a summers’ evening and pick some of the fruit fresh from our garden, we can’t help but reflect on how far we’ve come, and how proud we are of our business and its values - and our kitchen garden was the inspiration for it all ❤️

Strawberry Conserve isn’t just for toast or cream teas 🍓

Yes, we know, we’re in a middle of a heatwave, but….

When Mr Nichols had a hankering for homemade rice pudding last night, he had to get straight on with it!

Served with a swirl of our Strawberry Conserve, it definitely does not disappoint!

What a difference a year makes!

We’ve come so far in these last 12 months:
