There are a few things I wish someone had told me from day one:
๐ท Turnover is vanity. Profit is sanity.
Big sales numbers mean nothing if thereโs nothing left at the end of the week.
๐ฏ Quality over quantity.
You donโt need the biggest menu. You need great food that people want to come back for.
โค๏ธ Customer loyalty is key.
Your regulars are everything. Look after them and theyโll keep coming back โ and bring others with them.
๐ Running a food truck is a learning curveโฆ every single day.
Youโll make mistakes. Youโll change things. Youโll try things that donโt work. And thatโs all part of it.
And one of the biggest things Iโve learned?
Being an open book helps.
Iโm happy to share the wins, the failures, the numbers, the lessons and the things I wish Iโd known when I started.
Because if something Iโve learned can help another food truck owner avoid the same mistake, then itโs worth sharing.
Nobody has it all figured out. Weโre all learning as we go. ๐๐ฅ
