Cockerels! 🐓

We’ve spent time tonight getting these epic thighs and breasts ready for the weekend 👌
(Yes, thats one thigh and one breast! They’re huge!)

Each piece is stuffed with our own Lincolnshire sausage meat, from our woodland reared outdoor pigs. To add to it, tucked under the skin are a slice or two of our own smoked bacon, from the same pigs, to keep the meat juicy whilst you still get that wonderful crispy skin.
All topped off with sage and pepper *chefs kiss*

Thank you for such wonderful meat to work with Castors Pastures, your outdoor reared birds and strong ethics really show in your produce 💪

Our lovely driving pony, Bonny, hasn’t been herself lately, nothing we could put our finger on, but enough of a concern to call the vet out.

After a few tests, it’s been discovered that she has liver disease!
Luckily it’s still in the early stages and treatable, it could have been much worse.

If you see Bonny at the weekend be sure to give her a stroke, she’s loving all the extra attention now ❤️
