It’s looking like another heatwave is coming…☀️🍹

Here’s a super simple 3 ingredient cocktail to enjoy in the sunshine:

Vietnamese Iced Rum Coffee

Grab a glass, fill it with ice, then add:
A generous drizzle of condensed milk
A big glug of hazelnut rum
A shot of espresso

Then admire, stir & enjoy!

Posted • Our local rum producer Edmund, founder of the Cartmel Spirit Company, will be in the Grasmere Gather sampling his Belgrove rum on Easter Saturday - 19th April - from 11am. Come and join him and learn why single original Demerara rum is the perfect drink; over ice, with a mixer or in his perfectly crafted cocktails.

As a family business the Grasmere Gather loves working with other family businesses and we met Edmund because his sister Ellie Wood’s books including The Wildwater Women; the Restaurant at the Heart of the Lakes and the Hotel at the Heart of the Lakes are some of our best selling titles. Ellie was born and raised in the Lake District and still lives here and, like the Gather team, she is passionate about the benefits of getting out into the wild.

If you want to keep it in the family with the Woods and have a relaxing Easter Saturday - perhaps a rum cocktail with a book is the place to start. See you at 11am tomorrow 🐣🪺
