A little village update…

Last week, we welcomed our local MP, Helen Whately, to The Four Horseshoes to discuss the proposed road closure by South East Water.

We shared our concerns about the impact a closure will have on the whole village, from local residents and businesses to the pub and, importantly, the school and families trying to get there each day.

At the moment, it looks as though the works and road closure will be going ahead in January.

We know this will affect a lot of people, so we’ll continue to share any information and updates we receive and make sure the concerns of our village are heard.

Thank you to Helen for taking the time to meet with us and listen to the issues facing our community.

🎯 DARTS IS BACK! 🎯

The team were back at the oche last night, sporting their brand new shirts and Chris clearly couldn’t wait to model his! 😂

Chris was as consistent as ever, but it seems a few weeks off has done Steve the world of good!

Ben narrowly missed out on his place in the final, leaving Steve vs Justin to battle it out for the title.

And what a final it was…

Steve was ONE DART away from taking his first ever title. He stepped up, threw… and HIT THE WIRE! 😩

The nerves got the better of him from there, leaving Justin to swoop in and take the title! 🏆

So close, Steve. We’ve got a feeling that first win isn’t far away!

Despite the road closure signs around Seasalter and Faversham, you can still get to us from BOTH directions.

It’s only Monks Hill Farm Road that’s closed — access to The Four Horseshoes is still open, so don’t let the signs put you off!
