Good morning all!

As we move into the colder months, maintaining comfortable temperatures throughout our historic market building can be very challenging, especially with the huge doors at the main entrance.

To improve warmth and energy efficiency, we will be temporarily closing the lower section of the market. This will allow us to close the big external doors and create a warm environment for traders and visitors in the main areas.

Please note that access to the entrance to the high street side will be restricted during this time. The remainder of the market will continue to operate as normal and entrance and seating is available via the queen street entrance (pictured)

Please do come and support our traders and show some love even if it’s just grabbing some lunch or getting a takeaway from them one evening this week. Their takeaway links are as follows.

On our stage all day we have the best Soul & Motown music being performed live all day 😍 the first act is on at 1pm and the live music is continuing right through til 9pm with the best local Motown and Soul acts performing.

We also have all the premier league action playing on the screens

Our weekly quiz which is still extremely busy. Last week there was over 100 players which is great figures for a Wednesday night. It’s £3 a player and all that money goes into the prize fund 🤑 Message us to reserve your table

🏆 SPURS V PSG SUPER CUP FINAL tomorrow 8pm

We will be showing the super cup final on the big screens tomorrow from 8pm so get down and watch the action

⚽️ PREMIER LEAGUE RETURNS starts Friday 8pm

We will be showing live premier league games across the bigs screens on Friday, Saturday & Sunday so make sure you swing by grab some drinks and grub and enjoy the football

🎤 SUMMER SOUL Saturday from 1pm - close
