R&M Maynard

R&M Maynard R&M Maynard is the trading name of Edward & Sarah Gladden, based at Wylands Farm, Great Ellingham. The farm has been in the Maynard family since the late 1940s.

Edward joined his uncle (Richard Maynard) and his mother (Mary Gladden nee Maynard) in the family partnership in 1990 and has been farming the land ever since. After the death of his uncle and mother, Sarah (his wife) joined the partnership in 2017. We are a small arable farm, but have recently started to grow a small amount of pototoes, which we are pleased to be able to sell from the farm.

Following on from a query yesterday I can confirm the potato variety we are selling is Casablanca. This is an white, all-rounder combining delicious taste and floury texture. It can be steamed, mashed, chipped, sauted, baked or roasted.
