Itβs Time for Phase Two

Mama Put Trap Kitchen will be closed for the next few months as we prepare for something extraordinary. This pause is not a step back. It is a leap forward
When the restaurant was opened, my plan was to run it in phases in order to allow us learn, take feedback and improve. Over the past year we have had the honour of welcoming customers from Manchester, Preston, Lancaster, Rossendale, Rochdale, Colne, Clitheroe, Burnley just to mention but a few, and even visitors from London, all seeking the authentic flavours and bold experiences Mama Put brings. Your journeys, your loyalty, your love for what we do proves we are more than a local spot. Mama Put is a movement, a celebration of culture, heritage, and flavour. Every visit inspires us to raise the bar, push boundaries, and grow stronger
We are proud to say that no one within a 50 mile radius does what we do. This is not boasting, it is a fact! We expertly blend a fusion of Jah and Nig flavours in one plate. Running a business like ours in this area is challenging, as not many people around have the experience or palate to cook or help us with our type of food. Also our main Ingredients are sourced from far and wide continental stores to ensure authenticity, quality, and that bold flavour that keeps people coming back
During this time you will see exciting changes happening behind the scenes and as u walk past π. Work will be underway to make the space feel even better, to upgrade our kitchen so we can serve more of you faster, and to expand our delivery radius, so even more people can experience Mama Put wherever they are. One of our biggest lessons has been the challenge of accommodating walk-ins, we constantly send people away but this is something we want to fully address.
Mama Put is bold, unapologetic, and authentic, built with heart, vision, and community. The months ahead will only make us stronger, sharper, and more unforgettable. We cannot wait to show you what is coming
