Last week we lost a childhood hero, Peter Cullen, the voice of Optimus Prime. Such a huge presence in the Transformers community, and so sad with the upcoming 40th anniversary re-release of the original cartoon film

One of Peter Cullen’s famous personal quotes; “If you’re gonna be a hero, be strong enough to be gentle.”

He also voiced another one of my old favourites, Dungeons & Dragons, Venger. In great contrast to his Prime character

The 22nd of August marked the 40th Anniversary of one of the best movies ever made. It was released in 1986 in the US

I’ve not met a single person that this film doesn’t resonate with. I was a huge River Phoenix fan back then (still am), and this movie blew me away. It will always remain in my top 10

It’s the 2nd film in my 10 that features both Kiefer Sutherland and Corey Feldman (The Lost Boys), and my 2nd film to feature Richard Dreyfus (JAWS). It’s also one of the many VHS tapes I’ve sold in my shop over the past 6 years
