Hi followers, customers & friends. It’s Talia boss number one co owner of Shaney’s Streetfood. Just wanted to share my half marathon training journey with you from day 1
Ok so the journey begins & I’ve not properly run since completing the last half marathon about 4 years ago so don’t judge 😂 🥴 hard as it was i got my bum on my tread mill sprouting my new trainers FYI under armour are by far the best running trainers I’ve ever owned 👌 rocking the rolled up socks 😉. The sweaty hair pic as proof as my treadmill isn’t advance & went straight to 0:00, like I’d just imagined my run 🤦♀️ don’t fear 😧 I am going to bathe in a nice steaming cbd bubble & salt crystal bath I’m not gross I promise 😂
Here we are peeps update: It may not seem a lot but it’s day one, easing back into running 🏃♀️ I did 20 minutes none stop speed 7, which is a good speed. I can’t believe I managed it as aside from working out with weights & other small jog/running it’s been a while. Muscle memory my legs 🦵 thinking “wtf you doing to me woman!” But they did it no give ups. I’ll not be boring you daily but rather weekly with my updates as i progress with my running as I get ready for April’s London landmark half marathon in Shane’s memory, last time in 2022 I did it in 3 hours 6 minutes & I’m determined to finish it in 2 🤷♀️👀🥴 so I can get to the pub quicker 😜 but also more importantly save loads of lives not just men but hopefully all humans as many as I possibly can because no one lives inside our minds but us & it can be real lonely in a full room.
A bit about my charity run 🏃♀️ in April 2027, I will be running for CALM Campaign Against Living Miserably fantastic charity a real help when Shane died but also over the years I’ve raised money in his memory for them. I also want to run with abit of advertisement for my dear friends Bearded Fishermen Charity - Mental Health and Su***de Prevention Mick & Rick & their families are phenomenal people they deserve more support & I want more people to see the awesome work they do.
As April approaches I’m looking at getting a banner to wrap round on my run with Shane, Shaney’s Streetfood, The bearded fisherman & calm all combined that I can hold high in the streets of London that I once called home. Any sponsors to be on my banner please shout out, it would mean the world as many supportive people as possible I’ll extend on to my running top if I get lots 💜☺️
I appreciate not everyone can afford to sponsor or give to the just giving page but please if you can I’d be eternally grateful even just a share I’ll love you forever. I couldn’t save my Shane, but maybe I can save someone else the pain 💔
