So that's it, we're all done at Brewlab. Everyone's achieved what they wanted, our man will be coming home with a Merit. Thank you to Phil, Ali, Richard, Dave, Piero and everyone else at Brewlab for making us all feel so welcome - a true home away from home and an unforgettable experience. And to Alex, Stijn and Chris for being excellent housemates and encouraging fellow students. Hard work, intense few weeks, but thoroughly rewarding in the end.

Thought it would be nice to share some 'Back at Base' photos while Chris continues to miss out on the delicious Owlrye. A rare sighting of our Chief Taste Tester Colin (apparently only one of those beers is his) and Chris' inlaws Tim and Alison. All delighting in the sumptuous magnificence that is Owlrye, served at The Sun Inn.

Calling all (or both?) Yellow Sky fans.

The first wild Owlrye has been spotted at The Sun in Dunsfold. Please go along and try it out. It's not just supporting us and Mark at Tilford, but a pub that champions small, local breweries. Why not stay for lunch? Their burgers are top notch.

More exciting news!
In just over a week Chris will be heading off to Sunderland to attend a three week practical brewing course at Brewlab.
We've been brewing now for over eight years and know we can make good beer. But there remain huge gaps in our collective knowledge and we all want to get better.
The course will cover every aspect and detail of brewing and give a solid footing to move our little YSB forward, as well as getting an official qualification upon completion.

Owlrye is also now being shipped out to pubs! If you're in the area look out at The Star in Godalming and The Sun in Dunsfold over the next few weeks. Once we have further confirmation we'll post the other establishments where it can be found. Don't wait too long though, when it's gone it's gone!

Delighted to announce Yellow Sky has been invited to create a collaboration beer with Tilford Brewery. That means one of our recipes will be available on draught in pubs early next year! The pump clip design is a mix of our new cartoon style and Tilford's bold, eye-catching 'T'. Thanks to Mark from Tilford for giving us the chance to have a go and Ed Gould for developing the early design concepts. Hopefully it will be the first of many.
