We use the finest deodorised beef dripping in the world. Who says so? Scientists do by the number they attributed to it. 🤓

10.8 represents the number of hours before it starts to smoke during a scientific test called the Rancimat test. It is rendered from the Irish strain of Dexter cattle fed on meadow grass in Belgium. The Q stands for the Q Partnership, a combination of the 3 biggest fish and chip shop suppliers in the UK. 10.8 hours is the highest achieved by any beef dripping so that’s why we use it.😃

We improve the beef dripping even further by putting it through a low temperature heat and cool cycle so it is at the hallowed ‘second frying’ stage. We then ‘polish’ it through special filters before every shift and have never missed a shift in almost twenty years.
