We'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone who voted in our poll and those who gave further feedback in the comments.
As many of you know, we both work full time, as well as having our kids to think about, so the amount of time we can dedicate to doof is somewhat limited at the moment. It can be disheartening to put effort into planning menus, posting on here, all the behind the scenes stuff like sorting insurance etc and then not get orders some weeks, BUT we totally understand that finances are difficult for many of us at the moment and getting a takeaway probably isn't a priority a lot of the time.
We have taken on board all of your comments, and agree with nearly all of them!
We'd love to be open more often, or later, and to offer a more extensive menu. It does come down to costs and our availability, as well as the hall availability too.
What we're thinking is to do a monthly doof, and employing a couple of local young people who'd like to get some work experience, so that we can produce a wider menu each time we're open.
We'd also love to put on some summer specials too, when the hall is available, so that people can order on the spot on those lovely warm, beer fueled summer evenings...
So with that said, we won't be doing doof the next couple of weeks, but will publish a date and menu for May shortly - please bare with us!
