Not really pizza related, but something I feel is quite important to share since we’ve got a fair few followers on here.. and now we’re out of the woods with it and I don’t have to go to my grave feeling forever forever guilty!! Let’s talk essential oils and pets.. particularly Eucalyptus oil!! Which turns out is extremely TOXIC to cats and dogs! There’s me trying to take the holistic non toxic approach because my daughter’s kitten wee’d in the house. Well it turns out that lots of essential oils are actually very very bad for our pets, even just a few drops in the air, even the smell of it! And it made this little guy very poorly! 🤒
He’s on the up now but I just wanted to share and say to be aware with your smellies, pot pourrie, diffusers, candles and anything like that with added essential oils- It’s something I genuinely didn’t even consider, as I went for the natural approach instead of using chemicals which I thought would upset him. So just heads up with that, I learnt the hard way and would hate for it to happen to anyone else’s beloved fur babes! 💜
