Well I got that a bit wrong 😕. Meet Clover born around 9:30 today, Saturday 24 May weighing 7.5kg! Phyllis was 379 days pregnant!

We've watched and waited for the last twelve months but it's looking more and more likely that the alpacas are NOT having babies!! There could be various reasons but we shall now have to wait another year before we breed again. Sorry everyone, we are very disappointed 😞. Needless to say Bob and Dot are growing bigger by the day.

The lady alpacas enjoyed a shower this afternoon!

It is with great sadness that Greg had to be put to sleep today. When changing his bandages I found blood was no longer getting to his right hoof. The vet said we had no alternative but to put him to sleep 😢.
Bob and Dot are fine. We are now trying to encourage Dot to feed from Scarlet.

At 4am this morning we welcomed Bob (weighing 5.5kg) and Dot (weighing 3.5kg) into the world. Bob is doing great but little Dot is struggling a little so we are boosting her with a bottle. Alpacas next 😳. By the way Greg has doubled in size and growing in strength every day.
