Milkmen are often called the 4th emergency service, and this morning proved exactly why.

Early this morning, one of our drivers heard a strange noise. Looking up, he spotted an electrical cable sparking, which had set fire to a house.

Thankfully, he acted immediately by banging on the door to wake the occupiers and calling the fire brigade. Because we were in the right place at the right time, what could have been a devastating tragedy had a much better outcome.

We’re incredibly proud of our driver for staying calm, acting quickly, and potentially saving lives. It goes to show that delivering milk is about more than just dropping bottles on doorsteps. 🚒🥛👏
