Produce 'at the farm gate':
Weekly, starting on Friday July 15th, we are starting to sell our excess veg, fruit etc in the Fountainhead pub cark park in Warley, Halifax from 4.30 to 6.30 pm.
This will be limited to a few items initially but will increase over the coming weeks as more veg and fruit types 'come through'.
This week there will most likely be:
Potatoes Maris Peer (2nd earlies) 50p per lb
Peas (in the pod) 50p per lb
French Beans 50p per lb
Radishes 50p per lb
Gooseberries £1 per lb
White currants £1 per lb
Free range eggs £1.30 per box of 6 (or individually at 25p)
We also have various fresh cut herbs that you can order for the following Friday at 50p per bunch: Orange Mint, Chives, Sage, Yarrow, Lemon Balm and Lemon Thyme.
Please note that if you want anything that we currently don't have we can try to source it for you locally.
