We are incredibly proud to have received our certificate confirming Morgan’s Homemade Pie as a finalist for Britain’s Best Meat Pie at the Meat Management Industry Awards 2026!🏆

To have a pie made by our small family butchery recognised amongst the best in Britain is an achievement we’re hugely proud of.

We put a lot of care into the products we make here at Morgan’s, using quality ingredients, traditional skills and, of course, plenty of good meat! 🥩🥧

It’s official… our first Christmas order is in! 🎄

It might only be September, but Christmas has officially started at Morgan’s! 🥩

We have received our very first Christmas order of 2026, and it’s always a bit of a milestone for us, the first sign that the busiest (and most exciting!) time of the butchery year is getting closer.

If you’re someone who likes to be organised early, you’re clearly not alone! 😂

Our full Christmas range and ordering information will be coming soon… but for now, Christmas order number one is officially in the book!🎄❤️

🥩 Max and Paul have spent a brilliant two days with MEAT Ipswich, learning more about breaking down a full beef carcass from start to finish.

Even in a traditional craft like butchery, there’s always something new to learn. It was a fantastic opportunity for them to see different techniques, develop their skills and bring some new ideas back to Morgan’s.

When our family took on Morgan’s, we wanted to create more than just a butcher’s shop. We wanted to build a place that supports local farmers, celebrates traditional skills, welcomes everyone and plays an active role in our community.

💙 Our loo has been twinned! 🚽🌍

It might seem like a small thing, but we’re really pleased to have twinned the Morgan’s Butchery toilet with a toilet in Makwanpur, Nepal.

Around 1 in 5 people worldwide don’t have access to a toilet, and through Toilet Twinning, our contribution helps support work tackling poverty and improving access to safe sanitation.

At Morgan’s, we’re always looking for little ways our family business can make a difference, both within our own community and a little further afield! 💙🚽

We’re proud to be a dog-friendly butchers, so there’s no need to leave your best friend outside while you shop, bring them in to say hello! And, of course, there might just be the occasional treat waiting behind the counter… 🥩🐾
