Happy Friday everyone. 🎉😁 It’s that time of the week where you can kick off your shoes, slip into something more comfortable and enjoy your favourite glass of crisp, cool bubbles. Or don your party shoes, head out and … do the same. We find it’s the company you’re with that makes all the difference. Whether friends of old, new acquaintances …. or just the dog (cats also welcome). Nothing like a glass of English Sparkling to complete the occasion. At Longdown we are happily exhausted after a busy week - and excited we are so close to being able to share our wines with you. Plus, big news just in! Top secret for now. But all will be revealed ….

It's been a very busy week here at Longdown. We are delighted that our first bottles of Longdown Sparkling English wines have arrived! We had great fun watching the new vines being planted at Twyford this Monday. Including classic champagne varieties and some unusual Swiss varieties. We can’t wait to share our first bottles with you! Make sure to follow to be the first in the know.

The Longdown Vineyards stretch across some of the most beautiful Hampshire countryside. Our Bishops Waltham site has some of the oldest Bacchus vines around and is situated next to the origin of the River Itchen. Our newly planted baby vines are located In Twyford and include some exciting and interesting varietals that are new to Hampshire and rare in the UK. We continue to work hard behind the scenes and can’t wait to share more news soon!
