All females are reared as breeding stock whilst the males are reared for beef which are slow-grown on a tradional diet to ensure maximum taste and flavour.

Cow jobs happen everyday but this little duo come along for the ride every time. Molly, is my special ginger sidekick who knows more about me than I realise, can snuffle out a snack at any given moment and snores louder than a steam train. Bella, is a little whirlwind who can go from cute to barking in 0.1 seconds, and loves watching a bit of tv - especially any programme with an animal in it. They have their quirks, just like we all do, but life would be very dull and quiet without them

Like Bella, I’m mentally preparing myself for another busy weekend. For the first time in a few weekends, I’m not milking cows and I don’t have any farmers markets to attend. So…. That means I can have a different type of busy weekend with plans for mucking out some cows, going to a young farmers competition day, dog walking and hopefully a bit of a rest. Here’s hoping that however you’re spending your weekend you don’t end up covered in 💩like me!
