Last week, we headed over to Neptune Brewery to brew something special.

Ol and Bethany spent the day on the kit working alongside their team to create a limited edition cask release that we’re seriously excited about. This one will be pouring exclusively at Suds With Buds, so if you’re heading down, you’ll be among the first to try it 🫧🍻

We’re bringing in Kirkgate Market favourites, Amazing Gyoza, to level up this year’s street food line-up.

Expect their crowd-loved Cabbage & Pork Gyozas, alongside their signature Korean Fried Chicken & Chips – loaded with bold flavours like sweet & spicy gochujang and honey garlic soy.

Ever wondered what magic happens inside our hop back? 🍻🌿

This unsung hero of the brewhouse helps shape the final beer—and it’s been part of the DNA of Yankee and Baby-Face Assassin since day one.

Here’s what it brings to the brew:

• Boosts aroma with fresh, vibrant hop character
• Adds delicate flavour without extra bitterness
• Acts as a natural filter using whole hops
• Improves clarity before fermentation
• Captures late-hop character for added complexity
• Protects those bright, volatile hop oils
• Keeps a traditional craft method alive

Of course, every beer is different—so whether (and how) we use the hop back depends on what we’re brewing.
