Living the taco dream! 🌮 🌮🌮 Like all great ideas, TACOPORIUM was conceived whilst sipping on a couple cervezas and making guacamole. We spent the evening daydreaming of taco parties through the summers and lazy winters in the tropics. Then, of course, reality kicked back in, but the seed was planted, we knew we needed a change, so we made some more guacamole, ate some more tacos, and before we kne

w it we were the proud owners of a big white box on wheels. We took her to the beauticians and now have a fully kitted out zinc box we call 'The Squarestream', and present to you our soft-shell Taco 'EMPORIUM'!!!

Still the greenest, still the cleanest 🧤

You will be pleased to learn that we have retained our 5 star hygiene rating 🤩

We wouldn’t settle for anything less really but as the Michelin man isn’t likely to pay bus a visit (we think it’s an opening hours issue) we are very pleased to have this piece of validation

I’m not sure how professional or not it is to misquote a hygiene office but I’m sure I overheard them mutter the word impeccable to themselves when admiring the interior of the Aquavan, but it’s safe to say that the general vibe was that we are an extremely clean and safe but also very cool establishment to dine with 😎

A clean kitchen is a happy kitchen, and that’s what our is!

Cheese is great. Fried cheese is better.
Mayonnaise is great. Margarita mayonnaise is better. That’s why people go nuts for our halloumi poppers.

New Taco! Babi Guling 🐷

It really shouldn’t have taken us so long to get here - we have been busy, or maybe we have been honing our taco skills in readiness to do this one justice…

It was probably 15 years ago we ate a lot of Babi Guling (suckling pig) in Bali, when the Aquavan wasn’t even a twinkle in our eyes, but we had a big taco crush on the Babi Guling tacos and were generally obsessed with the vibes at taco beach grill, so if the margaritas hadn’t been so strong we might have foreseen our destiny!

Anyway, we are on the path now and have finally refined this national treasure into taco form with some very slowly cooked and crisped pork belly, in a fiery Balinese spice paste, with a splash of hot sour salty sweet dressing and a sambalish hot sauce 🙌 🤤

MAY THE FOURTH

Yes, it’s our Tacoversary, and with it a very happy 9️⃣ years in business to us 🥳 🥂 🌮 💪

Time flies when you’re having fun, but after a rewarding day in the van we can reflect on what we think has been a pretty cool and getting kind of long journey, and look forward to retiring, or expiring, in a decade or three, whichever comes first…its about the journey not the destination and we are travelling in style with delicious snacks on board 🚐😋

Eye wateringly early starts on a Monday weren’t what we expected when we visualised our future selves as taco pushers, but life is full of surprises and this one comes with a great view, and an apt photo for today’s milestone 🌅

One of our newest members of the Tacoporium menu is the ‘Sloppy Joe’ He’s a real beauty, browned and spiced minced beef smashed together with American cheese for a gooey naughtiness, be warned its moorish!
