Our Sunday Dinners have been a massive success, and we can’t thank everyone enough who has ordered, collected and supported us since we started serving them!

For now, we’re taking a little break from the Sunday roasts — but don’t worry, they’ll be back! 👀

🔴🔵 A BIG DAY FOR FC

Today marks the first-ever Hartlepool derby in the Northern League as FC make the short trip to Seaton Carew.

Before kick-off, both clubs will come together to pay their respects to PC Matthew Blades and PC Tom Clough.

Two clubs. One community. United in respect. ❤️

🔴🔵 DERBY DAY | FC MAKE THE SHORT TRIP TO SEATON

A historic afternoon for local football as FC Hartlepool and Seaton Carew meet for the first time in the Northern League.

Following the tragic events of the past week, today is about far more than football. Ahead of kick-off, both clubs will come together to remember PC Matthew Blades and PC Tom Clough.

💬FC Manager Terry Hill summed up the feeling around the club:

“This week’s events have put football into perspective. It has affected people within our club in very different ways and, as a collective, it has been a tough week.

“Football takes second stage at times like this, but it can also bring people together. Today gives us an opportunity to remember, reflect and stand alongside like-minded people as one football community.”

🔵 A Quick Notice for Parents & Guardians 🔴

Just a little heads-up if your children are visiting Murray’s Munchbox.

We’ve recently found that some children’s bank cards may not work on our card machines. This isn’t an issue with the cards themselves – it’s because our payment provider classifies our premises as a licensed venue, which can cause certain children’s cards to be declined automatically.

💷 If possible, we’d really appreciate children bringing cash when visiting the Munchbox. It helps avoid any disappointment at the till, as we’d hate to have to turn anyone away.

Some children’s banking apps do allow parents or guardians to adjust these merchant restrictions. However, these controls are designed to help keep under-16s safe, so we wouldn’t recommend changing them solely for this purpose. Any changes are entirely at the discretion of the parent or guardian.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support. We really appreciate it and look forward to serving you all.
