“IT AIN’T OVER TILL IT’S OVER” 🎶
2ND IN TRUST PILOT’S SOFT DRINKS CATEGORY!
WE CALL FOR REGULATION OF FAKE KOMBUCHA
IN AN INDUSTRY NO LONGER FIT FOR PURPOSE!
Hold that sale! We were simply blown away by the wave of appreciation and support for what we do following our last post, and now have two major backers in the health and sporting sector spheres who want to help take GO Kombucha to the next level.
The fact that GO Kombucha is currently the 2nd most trusted soft drinks out of 248 UK entries on Trust Pilot has renewed our resolve and strengthened our determination to go on and uphold the legacy and heritage for real kombucha!
While the work is underway to find a new method to scale-up our wholly authentic recipe to disrupt today’s commerdial UK kombucha sector — a wild west of hyperprocessed variants, pretenders and fake concoctions — for now we’re going to continue to brew and bottle small batches of our 250ml varieties, entirely by hand; including filling, capping and labelling each individual bottle!
We’ll be working with one of Europe’s top fermentation experts to overview our process and ensure the method we adopt in this transition. retains the authenticity that has made GO Kombucha the benchmark — and the most respected label since we pioneered the sector over 23 years ago!
And most importantly of all, to wake up consumers weaned on canned snake oil that’s been passing off as kombucha and associated benefits for far too long; who’ve bought into the lie that what they’ve been buying isn’t what it says on the tin!
GO Kombucha has never deviated from glass bottles in over 23 years, and it’s time the public woke up to the devious tricks and lies of a sector no longer fit for purpose as consumers demand real food with basic ingredients.
And we’ll be presenting a case to Trading Standards calling for the sector to be regulated; to enforce UK labelling laws that would stop mass manufacturers calling their snake oil “kombucha”; and for testing on the effects of aluminium leeching into low pH, acidic “live” (if the label’s to be believed!) tea and the potential health risks (there’s a reason vinegar isn’t sold in aluminium…).
Watch this space!
