❤️ A LITTLE MESSAGE FROM ME… ❤️
Every Monday I make a post on a few pages to promote my business, reach new customers and continue building the customer base that I have worked so hard to create.
I have built this business completely on my own. Every order, review, returning customer and bit of growth has come from the time, money and effort I have put into making this business what it is today.
I’m not going to lie, this is the first time I’ve made a post and genuinely felt disheartened by some of the comments.
I’ve had people calling my business a “scam”, saying I’m overly expensive and completely mocking what I offer and the prices I charge despite the fact that these people haven’t even ordered from me.
I also want people to understand that I make very little profit from my business. If you’re a seafood lover, you’ll know how expensive seafood stock can be. The cost of the seafood alone is high, before you even consider packaging, sauces, sides, fuel, delivery, and all the time that goes into preparing every order.
I could easily put less into each platter or boil and make more profit, but that’s not how I want to run my business.
I always make sure my platters and boils are FULLY loaded and overfilled because I want my customers to feel like they have received good value for their money. Anyone who has actually ordered from me can vouch for that. Everything I deliver is packed generously and, more often than not, overfilling the tray. 🦞🍤❤️
I put a huge amount of effort into every single order because I genuinely care about the food I provide and the experience my customers receive.
Until now, I have had nothing but lovely reviews, happy customers, returning customers and amazing feedback. So to suddenly have people who have never ordered from me calling my business a scam, saying I’m overpriced and mocking what I offer is honestly shocking and really disheartening.
Of course, everyone is entitled to their opinion. You don’t have to buy from me and you don’t have to think my prices are affordable, that’s completely your choice. But there is a huge difference between saying “that’s not within my budget” and publicly mocking a small business and making accusations about it when you have never even experienced the service.
What makes it even more disappointing is that these comments have been made ANONYMOUSLY. If you genuinely have a problem with my business, I’m more than happy to have a respectful conversation, but hiding behind an anonymous profile to make accusations about someone’s business is incredibly unfair.
There is a real person behind this page who has put their own time, money, effort and a lot of love into building this business. ❤️
To everyone who has commented, supported me, defended me, recommended me, ordered from me, left reviews and shown me kindness today I genuinely cannot thank you enough. 🥹❤️
Your support means more than you realise.
