A weekend of pumpkins, flowers, friends, visitors, good food and drink, but mostly love. 🧡🩷

If you know me, you know that I am an absolute control freak. 🙄 Being rushed into hospital ment I had to accept that this weekend was now out my control. The barn wasn't finished, and the set up as we wanted it wasn't ready. not being a part of everything was a difficult one .😪

However, my family and friends have been amazing. They stepped in, took over and overwhelmed me with love and support. ❤️ I am so grateful to you all, and love you all so much.

To everyone that visited us. You are so much more than customers. You are the people that make it work. The atmosphere, the smiles and the positivity,. Thank you. 🧡

The illness I have, is robbing me of so much. This post has taken an age to write and is probably full of mistakes (apologies for that). My speech is deteriorating, and you all know I love to chat, 😂 (apologies for that too). The list could go on and on, but the negative is not what we are focusing on.

My heart bursts every day with the wonderment of life and it's beauty, but for the more difficult days, you have filled my heart with love, kindness, hope, strength and positivity that myself and my family may need. We are so very lucky. 🥰

🌸🎃THANK YOU TO EVERYONE THAT WAS A PART OF THIS WEEKEND NO MATTER HOW BIG OR SMALL. WE ARE SO GRATEFUL. 🌸🎃

We will do it all over again next weekend. If i am extremely lucky, I may even be able to be there. 🤞Pumpkins, flowers, pizza, (this time) coffee, and cake . Details will follow. 🍕🍰🎃🌸

The weather is looking perfect 🌞 am I'm hoping that lots of you will visit us. 🤞

Unfortunately, my cancer is not playing ball and I won't be there to enjoy it all with you. 😪 However, I have a group of lovely friends that are going to be on hand to help out, and welcome you. 🥰

🤍🌸💜🧡🎃🍂Opening Weekend🍂🎃🧡💜🌸🤍

This weekend we are open for both pumpkins and flowers, and I cannot wait to see you all. 🥰😍

The pumpkin barn is full to the brim, with all sizes and colours of pumpkins, 💙🤍💛🧡 and our dahlia field is still overflowing with flowers. 🩷💛💜🧡

Charlie will be here with all the usual selections of coffee, cakes and drinks and some autumn specials too.🍪🍰☕️

This weekend,there will be hot food from the lovely ladies from "Liv n the spud life'. 🥔 We can't wait for them to join us. 😊

We have indoor and outdoor seating, and plenty of photo opportunities, with both the pumpkins and flowers. So come along, and enjoy the Autumn vibe, and make memories at our farm. 🚜

Discovering the new me, or reverting back to the younger me... 😂

At 53 years of age, if I fancy a totally unprepared dip in the sea without my bathers or a towel. Who's going to stop me? 🤔

This isn't a post that I ever imagined writing, and it doesn't actually sit very comfortably with me 😢 I am actually quite a private person, who finds social media a little daunting. 😬 However, you are the people that have supported us over the years on our farming adventures, embracing our ideas and making them a success. 🤎 Therefore, it seems only right that you are aware of our biggest test yet, and why our opening hours may be a little random.

A normal Sunday a few weeks ago, we were open for flowers, and all was well. 🌸 Chatting away to Charlie, I was unable to speak. She rushed me up to A & E where they suspected a stroke. Unfortunately, it wasn't. Eight years ago, I had a relatively low grade melanoma cancer diagnosis. After treatment, and five years of monitoring, I was given the all clear. 🥳 That wasn't the case, lurking silently in the background my cancer has returned. 😥

Our dreams and plans for Dreenhill Farm, are up in the air to say the least, but while I am able to, we will try where possible to be open for business as usual. 🎃🍂 Opening hours will be shorter than usual, and I will post if circumstances change.

My family, friends, and doing what we do here make me so happy. 😀 I love my life, and feel privileged to have been able to do what we do. Sharing what we do with all of you, fills our farm with good vibes, and happy memories. This isn't a pity post, it is a genuine welcome to you all to come and join us very soon for time in the pumpkins and flowers. 🧡

Our barn will be full of pumpkins, and photo opportunities. 📷 We'll have hot and cold drinks, cakes, and different food vendors every weekend, with indoor seating available. Details of the food vendors will follow soon. 😋

Although I always worry, will anyone come, you never let us down, and for that I will always be eternally grateful. So join us over the next few weeks to enjoy Autumn times, good food and drink, and everything that's positive. 🤎🍁

Our dahlias are still flowering beautifully, and I hope that, this Saturday 19th September, you'll come along to pick flowers, and fill our field with smiles and laughter and enjoy a coffee, cake and a natter. 🍰 I can't express enough how good it would be to see you all.

I couldn't resist sharing these. 📷 Ellie, an absolutely stunning woman, who is beautiful enough without flowers, but she choose ours. 🥳

I continue to believe that I am one of the luckiest ladies around. 🧡
Since we started growing more flowers in March this year, my days have been a dream. ✨️
Our flowers have given people, comfort beautiy, memories and smiles, and every flower has also given love. 🩷 Mine and my families love fills every flower and leaves to come home with you. 🏡 We get to be a tiny part of every occasion.
Our flowers have been present at baby showers, births, weddings, memorials, birthdays, funerals and just because situations, and that fills me feel a sense of honour and joy. 🥰
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making this happen. 🌷🌻🌸

I love seeing which flowers you choose. 😍 Everyone's tastes are so different, but every combination looks beautiful. ❤️
