It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closure of our much-loved Spud Box.
Pembrokeshire County Council has rejected our temporary three-year planning permission, forcing us to stop trading.
We were conscious of the challenges we might face, which is why we applied for permission retrospectively - and unfortunately, that caution proved to be justified. Nevertheless, we're proud to have enjoyed fifteen months of trading.
During this time, we can't express enough how much we've enjoyed engaging with thousands of customers, hundreds of local businesses, charities, local authorities, and schools. We will certainly miss you all.
Your continued support has been paramount to our success over the last year!
Our final day of trading will be this Saturday (18th July) from 12pm to 6pm.
But it doesn't stop there - we are for sale!
We see this as a great opportunity for the right person to purchase our brand, our unit, all of our equipment, our social media accounts, and our customer database, with the potential to set up in a new location. We're also happy to provide ongoing support for as long as it's needed. We also note this fantastic unit can be used for so much more than just spuds and for the right person the potential is endless.
If this is something you'd be interested in, please reach out to us at [email protected], or message us here on Facebook.
